Seduce Juice producers of top quality Premium e Juice.

How to reach Seduce Juice

VAPEMagazine.com:

Do you yourself vape and if so when did you start vaping and what was your greatest motivation to start vaping?:

Matt:

I began vaping in late 2012 as a supplement to prescription stop-smoking medication. After finding the horror stories of these medications to be true, I began vaping 100% as my means to quit. To my amazement, vaping was able to completely satisfy my habit and addiction to nicotine. My biggest motivation being my overall health and well being. I come from a long line of family smokers and didn’t want to deal with the health issues associated with it. Vaping being a new technology, I am always eager to embrace and try new things. Vaping has been described as the greatest advent in public health since antibiotics, and I am in full agreement.

VAPEMagazine.com:

If you were a smoker, have you stayed true to vaping or have you ever returned to smoking? :

Matt:

My last cigarette was a brisk September day back in 2012. Before retiring to my chambers I took my last puff of a Marlboro light in my single-car garage. I didn’t even finish half of it before tossing it down and grinding it into the concrete with my heel. I vividly remember the lingering smoke illuminated by a lone lightbulb in that garage, thinking of how disgusting and awful it smelled. A couple years later I found myself in a slot bank at the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa florida. The aroma of cigarettes permeating the air brought back the itch for a moment. Having 1.5 Blue Moons in me, I thought, “What the hell”, and asked a lovely blonde sitting at a slot for a smoke. After the first 2 draws from it I thought, “Yep, I really am done with this” as I snuffed it in the nearest ash tray. It was a great feeling to know that I had conquered an addition that had plagued me since age 16. I have yet to smoke at all since then, and have no desire whatsoever to even try.

VAPEMagazine.com:

How do you think vaping could be further improved so it is more like the feel of smoking?:

Matt:

Devices that mimic the habit of smoking cigarettes. I thought Njoy’s “King” product would be a smash hit. It resembled a cigarette, even having the slight “squishyness” of a real smoke. However, the vapor production left a lot to be desired, as well as the price and battery life. I am concerned this would open the door to big tobacco having success with their cig-alike products, but in the end if our fight is truly about public health, maybe we give a little and get a little in return by making products smaller with greater vape productions. If we can somehow reduce the size to that of a cigarette but with vapor production comparable to something like any of the sub-ohm tanks on the market, I believe we have a recipe for success.

VAPEMagazine.com:

What do you find are the biggest misconceptions about vaping?:

Matt:

It’s healthy. Too often I find that many community-oriented vapers or “fanboys” tout that vaping is “healthy”. It’s not, and if you beleive this you’re in denial. The healthiest thing to do is nothing at all, but we live in the real world and people with vices such as smoking will need something to replace their habit. Vaping offers a significant amount of harm reduction and a path to eventually quitting. Smoking cigarettes does not offer this, since the amount of nicotine is consistent. “Cutting down” doesn’t work, because you’re limiting yourself to only enjoying the habit/ritual of smoking to a few times per day. The great thing about vaping is that you can reduce the harm, but keep the frequency of the habit. In the end, people need to realize that vaping is not healthy, but orders of magnitude safer than tobacco. If we drive this point home I think it would bode well in our favor as a whole.

“Just because you’re drinking soda instead of vodka doesn’t mean soda is healthy”

VAPEMagazine.com:

What is your personal go to atomizer, mod and Premium e Juice combo?:

Matt:

I am stuck on dripping. Sub ohm tank systems produce phenomenal results, but dripping has an edge that I don’t believe can ever be beaten. I enjoy a large volume of vape rapidly. Tanks need an extra few seconds to product that amount of vaper, and i’m impatient! I’m hoping for the day a tank can give me a giant lungful of vapor in under 2 seconds. Dual 26ga 8 wraps, usually around 0.6 ohms. Seems the perfect mix of flavor and clouds. I usually run around a 40/60 mix since I like to vape rapidly every few minutes. For juices, I’m obviously going to promote my own brands above all else. Seduce Juice, People’s Vape, Preferred Stock, Gambler, Razzi Pop, Econoclouds, and ACME. If we’re being honest, I’m a die-hard Cuttwood Sugar Drizzle and Phillip Rocke Grand reserve fan.

VAPEMagazine.com:

When did you start in the vape business?:

Matt:

Early 2013, going hard ever since!

VAPEMagazine.com:

Why did you get into this vape business?:

Matt:

I was always a DIY-sort of guy in all things and love to create/make things myself. After a few months as a hobbyist vaper, I found DIY and how much money I could save by doing it myself. Putting 2 and 2 together, I thought about how lucrative a juice company could be utilizing my extensive background in business management, manufacturing management, and marketing. It’s working out pretty well!

VAPEMagazine.com:

What do enjoy most about working in the vaping industry?:

Matt:

Opportunity. The business is booming and allows us to expand and further the cause. We employ close to 30 people, all earning great wages, full health benefits, 401k and other perks all while helping thousands to extend their lives and improve their health.

VAPEMagazine.com:

What is it like to be in the gold rush days of vaping business?:

Matt:

Business is great, and again allows us to expand and provide great compensation and lives for our crew. However, it makes it very difficult to ever really enjoy the success. When you wake up every day, you don’t know if you’ll be in business tomorrow so there is no time to relax or enjoy any of the fruits of your labor.

VAPEMagazine.com:

Do you have more than one vape business?:

Matt:

I have 4 vape-only retail stores, 12 liquid lines, a retail website for vape juice (Seducejuice.com) and a wholesale site serving many lines to hundreds of shops worldwide (Technicalsandposh.com)

VAPEMagazine.com:

Are you interested in expanding your vape business and if so how would you expand it?:

Matt:

Any real business person who isn’t focused on expansion and growth isn’t a business person. They’re a hobbyist bankrolling their hobby. Since our 3rd month in business, our company has been all self-supporting and cash driven. We continue to grow both online, in retail stores, and use the cashflow to support new projects outside the vaping industry. The landscape is ever-changing in the vape game, so I would say that the best way to expand is to remain totally flexible. Winston Churchill said, “To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.”

VAPEMagazine.com:

What’s the best advice you can give someone starting their own vape business?:

Matt:

The market is so completely saturated at this point due to low barriers to entry, any aspiring vape mogul needs to be very innovative. Give the market something they haven’t seen before. Also, don’t get tied up in the details. One of my favorite lines is to avoid “analysis paralysis”. Lots of budding entrepreneurs spend long hours researching and doing homework. These types of people are usually trying to avoid taking action because it’s scary and risky. Come up with a great idea and execute it. You can always fine-tune it later. Watch your cashflow. Once operating, avoid trying to save a dollar and instead focus on making a dollar.

VAPEMagazine.com:

What is your top selling mods?:

Matt:

Sigelei products have proven to be very high quality, also Kanger fits a great niche of quality/price that many customers enjoy.

VAPEMagazine.com:

What is your top selling Premium e Juice?:

Matt:

Seduce Juice as always!

VAPEMagazine.com:

Do you think there is anything the vape community can do to stop big tobacco from lobbying against open and free vape business?:

Matt:

Financial support to trade organizations like SFATA or consumer organizations like CASAA. Too often I see vendors running sales or programs like, “Screw the FDA! Use code “SCREWFDA” for 10% off. Why not run a sale that say, “Our prices are the same, but this weekend we’ll send 10% of all our sales to SFATA”. These organizations are our best bet to change the tides in our favor. Signing petitions is great and all, but it’s a lazy approach. Many people have an idea on how things SHOULD work and how the world SHOULD operate, but it doesn’t always work that way. Money talks and walks – we need heavy support behind our best weapon – organizations like SFATA will use the money to lobby and make sure vaping gets a fair shake.

VAPEMagazine.com:

How do you think the new FDA regulations will effect you and your vape business?:

Matt:

Crippling in their current form. The costs to register every variation of juice is simply too high for us to even consider trying to stay in the game. While we have a great team of people ready to come up with alternatives to continue our business, the FDA has made it clear that they are interested in a de-facto ban. If we are forced into selling gas station cig-a-like disposables or pre-filled cartridges, nobody is going to pick up vaping like they are now. Everybody loses in this scenario.

VAPEMagazine.com:

Would you be interested in joining the vaping community that is fighting for the rights of vaping and vaping businesses?:

Matt:

Absolutely, and we currently are partnered with SFATA.

VAPEMagazine.com:

Do you have favorite blogs and or reviewers that you trust?:

Matt:

They are ever-changing, and mostly opinion based. I do frequent EcigAdvanced and Guidetovaping.

VAPEMagazine.com:

Where else can we find you hanging out on the web? :

Matt:

I’m a redditor for close to 6 years now. You can find me under /u/Seducejuice. While our marketing team is out in the digital world in many other forums, I enjoy the vape community over at reddit.com/r/electronic_cigarette. See you there!

VAPEMagazine.com:

Can people connect with you on social media?:

Matt:

Yes! facebook.com/seducejuice twitter.com/seducejuice instagram.com/seducejuice. As I enter old age (30’s) it gets harder to keep up with what the newest social media platforms are, but all the major ones we have a presence.

VAPEMagazine.com:

If you could get more involved with the vaping community socially, would you?:

Matt:

Depends on the approach. For advocacy, yes. For hobbyist communities, not so much. I think these communities become echo-chambers and many are unfriendly to outsiders and especially businesses. I’m committed to my business and supporting the lives of my crew, so that leaves little time for me to be a social butterfly burning away my hours hanging out in a vape clubhouse. Not saying thats bad at all. If you’re into the hobby and like being social, go for it! Just not for me.

VAPEMagazine.com:

With the new trend for (deep character development ) storytelling, would you be interest in an ongoing story about you and your vape business?:

Matt:

Absolutely!

VAPEMagazine.com:

How could the vaping community further help your business? :

Matt:

Increased brand awareness and highlighting some of the positive works we are doing to further advocacy, have good manufacturing practices, business practices, and the fact we take great care of our crew and are invested in our employees for the long term.

VAPEMagazine.com:

Of all the things you’ve ever been asked, whats the one thing nobody’s ever asked you that you would love to talk about?:

Matt:

Politics. However, you never make any friends talking about that!
